Suites Class was a special class that was even better than First Class. But Middle Eastern and European airlines were very tough competitors, so in late 2017, Singapore&#8217;s flag carrier returned with a second version of A380 Suites that was even more luxurious and bigger.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We got to see them for ourselves during the 12-hour delivery flight from Toulouse to Singapore. So, let us show you what you can expect when you get on board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The number of Suites has been cut in half compared to the original A380 fleet, so the cabin feels much bigger. Now, only six Suites have been moved to the front of the top deck. These luxury havens have three on each side and one in the middle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1012\" height=\"674\" src=\"https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/1-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-765\" srcset=\"https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/1-4.jpg 1012w, https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/1-4-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/1-4-768x511.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1012px) 100vw, 1012px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The doors to the Suites do not go up to the sky, so you have some privacy, but not as much as in some competing products, like Emirates&#8217; newest Boeing 777 first class suites. The little holes in the doors also take away some privacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two Suites in front of the aisle on each side can be assembled to make a &#8220;double bed&#8221; Suite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1012\" height=\"674\" src=\"https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/2-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-766\" srcset=\"https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/2-3.jpg 1012w, https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/2-3-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/2-3-768x511.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1012px) 100vw, 1012px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The new Suites plan has a big leather armchair that can be moved&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1012\" height=\"674\" src=\"https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/3-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-767\" srcset=\"https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/3-5.jpg 1012w, https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/3-5-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/3-5-768x511.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1012px) 100vw, 1012px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8230; and a separate bed that swings out and can be used as a traditional &#8220;fully flat&#8221; bed or a bed with a slight angle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1012\" height=\"674\" src=\"https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-1.png 1012w, https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-1-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-1-768x511.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1012px) 100vw, 1012px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The bed is slightly shorter and a little bit bigger than the one in Etihad&#8217;s A380 First Class Apartments, which is 82 inches long and 26 inches wide. It is very comfy to sit in. Under these windows, there are amenities, a makeup mirror, Bose noise-canceling headphones, and a place to put things. A Singapore Airlines spokesperson said that this room was made because rich customers did not want to put their expensive handbags on the floor!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1012\" height=\"674\" src=\"https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-8.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-775\" srcset=\"https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-8.png 1012w, https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-8-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/firstclass.flights\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-8-768x511.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1012px) 100vw, 1012px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You will also find most connectivity features in this console, like a headphone jack, AC and USB power ports, and even an HDMI port so you can stream your content to the TV.
