Etihad Airways is set to introduce upgraded private suites for its Boeing 787 Dreamliner, following the successful debut of the Airbus A350 Business Studio suites. Recent photos and details have emerged, showcasing Etihad’s new Boeing 787 business class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collins Aerospace’s Elements suite, already acclaimed on Starlux A350 jets, has been chosen by Etihad for its Dreamliner offering. This suite, known for its exceptional quality, forms the foundation of a remarkable business class experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scheduled for launch in the third quarter of 2023, Etihad’s Boeing 787 Dreamliners will be delivered in sets of three, with a total order of 11 aircraft. Each Dreamliner will feature 32 private business suites, adorned with sliding privacy doors and enhanced seclusion compared to the A350 sibling, thanks to slightly higher walls and a top lip wrapping over the suite.Several design and engineering enhancements have been made to maximize personal space within the suite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Etihad’s recently introduced business class seats on the Boeing 787 offer passengers the convenience of a fully lie-flat bed measuring 78 inches in length<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The seat mechanism has been revised, allowing it to be positioned closer to the back of the shell, while the bed now offers a lower position. The food tray has been raised to provide more convenience when transitioning to bed mode. These improvements enable more efficient use of space, resulting in increased comfort for passengers. Under the 17.3″ 4K TV screen, there is now more room for passengers’ feet, and Bluetooth headphone pairing is available for travelers’ own headphones. Etihad’s 787 business class suite is equipped with multiple AC and USB charging ports, wireless device charging, and practical storage compartments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Etihad’s latest Boeing 787 business class is equipped with all the latest features and conveniences, leaving no stone unturned<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, high-speed WiFi will be installed on the 787s, with free chat and messaging services for Etihad Guest loyalty program members, while unlimited internet access will be available for a fee of US$10 for flights under seven hours and US$20 for longer flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the A350-1000 aircraft cater to Etihad’s ultra-long-haul routes, the Boeing 787s will continue to serve as the backbone of the airline’s international network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the A350 and Boeing 787 fleet, the Etihad Airbus A380 will make a comeback on the London route starting July 15. However, the extravagant three-room Residence, featuring a private bedroom and shower, will not be available for booking on these A380 flights. Instead, Etihad plans to offer The Residence as an optional upgrade for passengers traveling in any of the nine first-class Apartment suites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
