Etihad Airways introduces an impressive business class experience enhanced by Armani.

Taking inspiration from the stylish atmosphere of Milan, the Gulf carrier aims to elevate its renowned service to new and exceptional heights.

Etihad Airways aims for excellence with its latest premium offering, introducing an upgraded sleep and dining experience that draws inspiration from the celestial realm and is curated by a prominent fashion designer. Starting in December, business class passengers can enjoy the exclusive ‘Constellation Collection’, a customized range of bedding and tableware that combines Italian elegance with Middle Eastern luxury, as described by the Gulf carrier.

Crafted exclusively by Giorgio Armani for Armani/Casa, the collection encompasses an upgraded turn-down service complete with coordinated pillowcase and duvet, along with a memory foam mattress for enhanced comfort during extended flights.

The dining experience receives a modern touch with the collection’s elegant cutlery, tableware, and glassware, reminiscent of fine dining establishments. Embracing a contemporary approach, the airline adopts oblong and circular shapes, a blend of materials, and textured finishes, departing from traditional square plates.

The ‘Constellation’ collection will be present on all business class flights, encompassing the Airbus A350 Business Studio suite, an elegant sanctuary adorned with glittering gold accents and equipped with a sliding privacy door. Additionally, the revamped Boeing 787 Dreamliner business class suite, scheduled for launch in 2023, will also feature the ‘Constellation’ collection.

Aligning with the airline’s dedication to sustainability, the design and materials of the collection have contributed to a weight reduction of up to 10%, thereby minimizing fuel consumption and lowering emissions.

The dark green hue represents the lush date palm surroundings, the aquamarine shade reflects the serenity of the mangroves, while the slate color symbolizes the contemporary essence of the iconic Abu Dhabi skyline.
